Welcome to VINdicated.ai ("VINdicated," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Purpose of the Service

VINdicated provides tools to help consumers understand automobile finance contracts by comparing certain financial terms (e.g., APR, documentation fees, warranties) against market benchmarks and publicly available data.

Our Service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. VINdicated is not a bank, lender, broker, dealer, or financial advisor.

2. Data Sources and Accuracy

1. VINdicated uses publicly available data such as:

   • State DMV fee schedules

   • Federal Reserve interest rate data

   • Manufacturer rebate programs

   • National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data

   • Other public and government sources

2. VINdicated may also use aggregated market data from third-party sources.

   • These third-party sources are not affiliated with VINdicated, and their data may be subject to their own licensing and terms of use.

   • VINdicated does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, and benchmarks may not reflect actual dealer practices in every market.

3. All trademarks and names of third-party organizations are the property of their respective owners. VINdicated does not claim any partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the contract images or documents you upload.

• You agree not to upload personal information such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or other highly sensitive data unless expressly required for a specific feature.

• You will not use the Service for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.

4. Limitations of Liability

VINdicated is a consumer tool and does not:

• Guarantee savings or specific outcomes.

• Provide legal, financial, or tax advice.

• Validate, approve, or reject any dealer contract.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VINdicated shall not be liable for:

• Decisions you make based on our reports.

• Losses, fees, or damages incurred as a result of using our Service.

• Errors in OCR scanning, benchmark calculations, or third-party data inaccuracies.

5. Payment and Credits

• Certain features require purchase of scan credits via Stripe or other payment platforms.

• Refunds (Buyer’s Guide Digital Download)
  If you purchase the VINdicated Car Buyer’s Guide (digital download) and you’re not satisfied, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing support@vindicated.ai with the subject line “Refund Request.” Please include the email used at checkout and the order/receipt number, if available.

• Other Purchases
  Any other products or services (including app-related purchases, if offered) will have refund eligibility described at the time of purchase. Where required by law, refunds will be provided.

6. Data Retention

• Uploaded documents are automatically deleted after 30 days.

• Processed benchmark summaries may be retained for analytical purposes in an anonymized format.

• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, resell, or copy VINdicated’s software or reports.

• Scrape VINdicated’s platform without written consent.

• Use VINdicated to harass, defraud, or mislead others.

8. Changes to the Service

VINdicated may update or change the Service at any time without notice.
Updated Terms will be posted with a new Last Updated date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
